Brian has enjoyed a colourful, successful career in international motorsport. His outstanding sponsorship acquisition skills initially helped him enjoy a successful career as a professional race driver before taking up the role of Head of Motorsport for the international API sports marketing group.
In this capacity, he personally secured the multi-million pound sponsorship agreements that brought FedEx and Gillette into Formula 1 for the first time. He then became the Commercial Director of the Benetton F1 team until its sale to Renault in 2000. Brian is the Founder and an Honorary Life Member of the Motorsport Industry Association.
Ryan has been involved in motorsport for over 20 years, primarily within the motorsport insurance sector. He is the Managing Director of Ryan Motorsport Insurance - a worldwide renowned company that provides insurance solutions to drivers, teams, managers, venues and companies within the sport.
Having met Brian Sims and discussed his in-depth strategies for creating successful sponsorship proposals, Ryan decided that he had to be involved in this new business and play a role in increasing the chances of people at all levels within motorsport to secure their fair share of the vast budgets allocated by companies to sports sponsorship.
